I wish this game had a wiki. Actually I found out the IA of this fish while trying to catch it. (And got it at the end, spending around 100k of money, wich aint much) the big fish roams corner to corner of the map as long as you are following him (seeing him between some intervals of time) so.. If you clean a spot at the end or at the beginning, and then find the fish at somewhere else and keep following him, eventually he'll reach the cleansed spot. And then you'll be able to catch him.
Tried exact same method didnt work…

I think dunkleoseus roams from the corner of sea back to start, and roams again from start to the corner of sea (sorry for my bad English :")

Just very curious… can you get 2 dunkleosteus? Or once you have it in your aquarium you will not find it in the sea until you sell them?
Btw how bad ass your fishing rod is cathing a giant predator and your strength pulling a giant needs alot of strength but you pull it like is nothing ●︿●
