  22. There are 15 players per game maximum. Each player can foul a maximum of 6 fouls (overtime). Each foul can be 3 free throws maximum (3-point attempt). 15 players times 6 fouls each player (the game will end after the last player fouls out in overtime) times 3 free throws each foul = 270 free throws maximum per game. There are 82 regular season games. That means 22,140 maximum free throws in regular season. If you miss 1 free throw = 22,139/22,140 your free throw percentage will be 99.99548328816621 for 1 season. That does NOT round up to 100% Let's say you played for 20 seasons. You can make 442,799 out of 442,800 free throws in regular season. Your maximum free throw percentage, if you missed 1 free throw, after 20 seasons, is 99.99977416440831% which WILL round up to 100%
